Honeywell FC-TSPKUNI-1624 Voltage and Current Detailed Specifications

Voltage-Related Parameters

Nominal field power supply input voltage is 24 VDC. External field power feeds this voltage to the field termination assembly to deliver power to instrument loops.

The maximum rated operating voltage for each channel is 30 VDC. This value defines the upper voltage limit permitted at every field signal terminal and applies to 24 VDC-based digital and analog field loops.

The rear-side 37-pin Sub-D connector receives low-level logic voltage signals from Honeywell Safety Manager RUSIO I/O cards. The FTA itself produces no internal power output.

As a passive termination unit, the module cannot generate output voltage on its own. Actual signal voltage levels depend entirely on interfaced controller hardware and field-installed devices.

Current-Related Parameters

Each single channel supports a maximum continuous current of 2 A. A dedicated 2 A fuse is integrated per channel to offer short-circuit and over-current protection and shield downstream I/O hardware against field-loop failures.

The overall module maximum total load current reaches 16 A, representing the summed current capacity across all sixteen universal channels. Operating current must stay below this threshold during real-world deployment.

The module accepts standard 4-20 mA analog loop current from field transmitters as well as discrete digital signal current operating within 24 VDC logic loops.

There is no on-board signal-driving current source. Loop driving current originates from either an external 24 VDC power supply or compatible Safety Manager I/O cards.

FC-TSPKUNI-1624 functions as a passive field termination assembly with no embedded logic circuitry. Its core roles include signal wiring conversion, power distribution and fuse-based circuit protection.

All listed voltage and current ratings apply to field-side loop circuits. The rear Sub-D connector merely passes low-voltage, low-current logic signals toward the Safety Manager system.

Channel-mounted fuses provide protection exclusively for field wiring. Over-current conditions occurring on the controller card side shall comply with the official specifications of the corresponding RUSIO I/O module.
