5X00226G03 Emerson Ovation IO Interface Controller Module

The Emerson 5X00226G03 (orig. Westinghouse) is a 16-channel single-ended isolated digital-input module for the Ovation DCS I/O rack, accepting 24–125 V DC wet contacts or dry contacts with internal 24 V excitation, 1500 Vrms opto-isolation, <10 ms response and per-channel LED indication on +5 V backplane power. Rated 0–60 °C, IP20, hot-swappable and UL/CE/IEEE 379-noise-hardened, it acquires breaker aux contacts, valve limits, motor-run status and MFT sub-signals in power, water and petrochem plants—but without 1 ms SOE time-stamping, which belongs to the 5X00357G02 class.

Commissioning Procedure for Emerson 5X00226G03 (Ovation I/O Interface Controller)

1. Pre-Commissioning Inspection
