Working Principle of GE DS200TCCAG1BAA

Analog Input Operation

This board supports a wide range of common industrial analog input signals, including ±10 VDC, 0–10 VDC voltage signals, 4–20 mA current signals, as well as RTD and thermocouple measurement signals. Its internal hardware circuits perform a series of preprocessing operations on incoming signals, including filtering, noise suppression and amplification. Specifically, thermocouple input channels are equipped with cold junction compensation capability to eliminate temperature measurement errors, while RTD channels adopt constant current excitation circuits to convert resistance changes caused by temperature variations into accurate voltage signals. All conditioned analog signals are converted into 12-bit digital data via the integrated ADC module, and subsequently transmitted to the system I/O engine through the backplane 3PL interface for further control algorithm computation.

Analog Output Operation

Upon receiving digital control instructions from the system I/O engine, the on-board microprocessor analyzes and processes the data, then drives the built-in DAC module to output standard industrial analog signals, covering ±10 VDC voltage signals and 4–20 mA loop current signals. These output signals are deployed to control field equipment such as actuators, regulating valves and on-site display indicators, realizing real-time adjustment of turbine operating parameters.

Overall Operational Mechanism

During full-time system operation, the board continuously completes high-precision signal sampling, data calibration and scaling, and real-time self-fault diagnosis. The integrated status LED intuitively reflects the board’s operating state and fault information. By acquiring real-time process feedback signals and outputting corresponding regulation commands, the board enables stable and reliable closed-loop feedback control for gas and steam turbine units.
