1. Basic Overview
This is a 19-inch standard redundant I/O chassis designed for Honeywell Safety Manager safety control system. It supports centralized installation, unified power supply and bus communication expansion for system I/O modules.
2. Slot Structural Features
Equipped with 21 module slots in total. Slots 1–18 are available for I/O modules and support 9 sets of dual-redundant I/O configurations. Slot 19 is reserved and non-operational. Slots 20 and 21 are dedicated for IO-0001 bus expansion modules. Odd-numbered slots correspond to Main Processor 1 and even-numbered slots correspond to Main Processor 2, enabling independent dual-controller collaborative control.
3. Full Redundancy & High Reliability
Features dual independent 5VDC backplane power supply circuits for power redundancy.
Dual communication buses support hot standby and bumpless automatic switching upon link faults.
Allows online hot-swap of modules without system shutdown.
Built-in fault isolation design ensures single-module failure does not affect overall chassis operation.
