The 1756-L81E is a high-performance modular controller belonging to the Rockwell Automation ControlLogix 5580 series, fully compatible with standard 1756 ControlLogix chassis. It occupies a single chassis slot and is powered entirely through the chassis backplane without requiring external power wiring. Integrated with a non-removable energy storage module, the controller can retain system data during transient power failures without additional backup batteries.
