Field Signal Termination
It offers screw terminal blocks for connecting field devices, accepting shaft speed pickup signals, flame detection signals, generator voltage and current measurements, external trip contacts as well as generator breaker status signals.
Inter-Board Signal Routing
Processed field signals are transmitted to the TCEB protection board and TCTG simplex trip board through ribbon cable connectors (JJR, JM, IN, JU, JV, JVA). It also forwards trip commands and interlock signals from core control boards to field equipment.
Flame Detection Power Distribution
It transfers 335 VDC power sourced from the TCEB board to field flame detection sensors.
Alarm Power Control
Provides enabling signals for cabinet audible alarm horns. Onboard jumpers are used to configure the activation logic of alarm horns.
Signal Noise Suppression
Integrated varistors, capacitors and resistors filter electromagnetic interference and shield circuits against voltage surges.
Signal Distribution & Expansion
The board centralizes wiring for all protection loops and separates analog and discrete signal circuits, facilitating wiring arrangement, fault diagnosis and routine maintenance.
Hardware Signal Isolation
It establishes physical isolation between field wiring and internal control circuits, lowering the possibility that transient interference disturbs protection logic.
System Safety Support
It constitutes the hardware signal interface for vital turbine safety functions, including overspeed protection, flame failure trip, generator protection and emergency shutdown interlock.

Fundamental Note
DS200PTBAG1BBA is a passive termination board without microprocessor and programmable firmware. All configurations are implemented via hardware. No software parameters can be downloaded to this board. Protection threshold settings are configured on TCEB, TCTG and main control boards through Mark V Toolbox.
Pre-Setting Preparation
Carry out Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and cut cabinet power. Wear a grounded ESD wrist strap. Photograph original jumper positions and wiring for reference, and prepare engineering schematics and signal allocation tables.
Onboard Jumper Configuration
Alarm Horn Enable Jumper: Controls power for cabinet audible alarms. Install the jumper to enable the horn signal; remove it to deactivate the circuit.
Signal Loop Jumpers: Configure grounding schemes for flame detection circuits and reference points of speed pickup channels in accordance with site drawings.
Surge Protection Jumpers: Choose surge suppression modes for generator PT/CT measurement loops.
Terminal Wiring Assignment (Hardware Signal Allocation)
Connect field devices to specified screw terminals as defined:
Shaft speed magnetic pickup signals;
Flame detector cables and 335 VDC power circuits;
Generator voltage and current measurement signals;
External trip contacts and generator breaker status feedback.
Check analog signal polarity to prevent reversed readings.
Inter-Board Ribbon Cable Matching
Plug JJR, JM, JN, JU, JV, JVA ribbon cables into corresponding ports for fixed signal routing:
JJR: Shaft speed signals to TCQE board
JM/JN: Trip interlock signals with TCTG board
JU/JV: Flame detection and generator measurement signals to TCEB board
JVA: 335 VDC power supply for flame sensors
Incorrect wiring leads to signal loss and protection failures.
System Software Parameter Matching (Mark V Toolbox)
While PTBA stores no parameters, align system settings with hardware layout:
Ensure control logic channel definitions match PTBA terminal distribution.
Calibrate scaling parameters of generator voltage and current channels.
Confirm speed signal input type conforms to magnetic pickup specifications.
Adjust flame detection thresholds and fault delay values on the TCEB board.
Post-Configuration Verification
Double-check all jumpers, terminal wiring and ribbon cable connections.
Restore power incrementally and measure 335 VDC flame sensor power and field signal levels.
Inject simulated signals to each channel and validate data consistency on Mark V Toolbox.
Test alarm horn logic and all protection interlock circuits.
File jumper layout and wiring documents for maintenance.
