DS200TCQCG1BHF GE Turbine Control Module

The GE DS200TCQCG1BHF is a TCQC analog I/O board for the Speedtronic Mark V turbine control system, occupying the QC slot of the R/S/T core racks and linking to the STCA via the 3PL Corebus to bridge digital control algorithms with field analog devices. It provides jumper-selected 2.4/4.8 kHz LVDT excitation and demodulation, conditions 4–20 mA / ±10 V / thermocouple / vibration inputs, and drives short-circuit-protected 0–20 mA or 0–200 mA servo-valve outputs with optical isolation and BHF enhanced-filtering components for high-noise turbine environments.

Input

LVDT differential position input: AC weak millivolt differential signal, valve displacement feedback access, with on-board hardware demodulation filtering;

4–20mA analog current input: pressure, flow, vibration field sensor signal acquisition;

Thermocouple millivolt input: range -10mV~+70mV, compatible with J/K/B/E/N/R/S/T thermocouple types;

Generator electrical signal input: voltage & current sampling signal for power grid monitoring;

Backplane internal input: +5V, ±15VDC logic power, Q-Bus redundant communication signal, 24VDC auxiliary power supply.

System Architecture

It is an analog I/O expansion board for GE Mark V EX2000 turbine control systems, adapting to triple-redundant R/S/T processors. It supports hot standby switching within 40ms and meets IEC 61508 SIL2 safety standards.

Signal Processing

It integrates LVDT hardware demodulation with adjustable excitation frequencies (60Hz/2400Hz/4800Hz). It supports 4–20mA, ±10V signals and common thermocouples with linearization.

Each channel is optically isolated from internal circuits with 500VAC isolation for strong anti-interference capability. It delivers high-precision sampling, amplification and filtering for position, temperature, pressure and flow signals.

Hardware Configuration

It has 11 pin connectors including 3PL, JE, JF, JG, JZ for bus communication, sensor and actuator wiring.

37 jumpers enable quick onsite parameter configuration, and reserved test points facilitate debugging.

It contains 6 relay outputs, heat sinks and protective fuses; servo outputs feature short-circuit protection with a 200mA current limit.

The plug-in card draws +5V and ±15VDC power from the rack backplane without external power supply.

Environmental Performance & Reliability

Operating temperature: -40℃ ~ +75℃; storage temperature: -55℃ ~ +85℃, suitable for harsh industrial cabinet environments.

The multi-layer PCB undergoes strict aging tests, with an MTBF of 140000 hours. It is fully compatible with Mark V peripherals and easy to maintain and replace.

Communication & Application

It transmits processed field data to main controllers via real-time Q-Bus communication.

Commonly used on gas turbines, steam turbines and derived turbines in power, petrochemical and chemical industries.
