The ABB 3BHE022287R0001 (UCD240A01) is the CCI main control and communication card for UNITROL 6000/6080 generator excitation systems, using a 32-bit RISC PEC80 CPU at 24 V DC to run AVR, limit functions and thyristor firing while sampling PT/CT/rotor signals at ±0.1 % FS. It provides Ethernet, RS-485 Modbus, CANopen and optional Profibus DP / IEC 60870-5-104 links to DCS with 1:1 hot-standby switchover under 100 ms, for redundant, disturbance-free voltage and reactive-power control of turbine and renewable synchronous generators.
