XV-152-D8-10TVR-10 EATON Complete Wiring Method Guidelines
This HMI reserves independent terminals and standard D-Sub connectors for power and communication wiring on the rear side, divided into power wiring and signal communication wiring two parts:
Power wiring steps: First disconnect the whole system power supply, insert the 24VDC positive and negative cables into the green spring power terminal block separately, tighten the terminal screws to avoid loose contact, and connect the equipment ground wire to the dedicated grounding pin of the terminal block for EMC anti-interference. The power cable must use shielded twisted pair wire with copper braided shielding, and the shielding layer fully contacts the metal cabinet ground to reduce electromagnetic interference.
Communication interface wiring steps:
Ethernet port (10/100BaseTX): Use standard industrial shielded CAT5e Ethernet cable to connect PLC, switch or upper monitoring computer; the RJ45 metal shell of the cable must be grounded.
RS232 / RS485 serial port: Adopt 9-pin D-Sub connector, match the A/B signal lines of serial communication according to the official pin definition, shield wire single-point grounding at the HMI end only to prevent ground loop noise.
CAN bus interface: Connect CAN-H and CAN-L twisted pair cables, add terminal matching resistance at the two ends of the CAN bus network as required.
USB Host & USB Device ports: USB Host supports external SD card and mouse/keyboard; USB Device is used for program download from PC, no complex wiring, direct plug-and-play.
All signal wiring should be separated from high-power AC power cables by more than 10cm to avoid signal distortion caused by power interference; after wiring, cover the rear wiring protective cover to maintain IP20 rear protection.
