DS200TCRAG1ACC GE Relay Output Board

The GE DS200TCRAG1ACC is a Mark V Speedtronic TCRA relay output board carrying 30 plug-in SPDT relays with 24 VDC coils and 0.5 A/250 VAC-VDC contacts (5 A high-capacity variant available), translating low-level logic from TCDA/TCQC DO cards via four 34-pin connectors into isolated field dry-contact outputs for fuel valves, ESD trips, alarms and auxiliary starters. Galvanically isolated at 1500–2500 VAC, firmware-free, LED-per-channel and rated −40 °C to +85 °C, it acts as the hardened electromechanical actuator tier that bridges Mark V control logic to turbine-site power devices.

Pre-Operation Safety Requirements

Perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and disconnect cabinet power before board removal. Wear a grounded ESD wrist strap to protect PCB components and plug-in relays from electrostatic damage. Take photos of existing jumper configurations and cable arrangement for reference.

Rack Installation

Align the board with the assigned rack slot, insert smoothly and fasten firmly to secure the 28 VDC backplane power supply (operating range: 18–32 VDC). Avoid forced insertion to prevent bent backplane pins and relay damage.

Inter-Board Ribbon Cable Connection

4 × 34-pin connectors (JOR, JOS, JOT, JO): Receive relay trigger signals from DS200TCDAH digital I/O boards;

4 × 12-pin connectors (JS3, JS4, JS5, JS6): Transmit relay contact signals to DTBC/DTBD terminal boards for field signal distribution.

Precisely align connector notches; reverse connection is not allowed.

Hardware Configuration

Channel logic is configured via jumpers on external terminal boards. Onboard jumpers set signal grounding modes and circuit protection parameters in accordance with engineering drawings. This board features no programmable firmware, so channel functions cannot be adjusted by software.

It is fitted with 30 pluggable relays. Faulty relays can be replaced separately without detaching the entire board.

Signal Load Restrictions

Relay contact rating: 6 A at 28 VDC. Do not overload output channels to prevent contact burnout.

Separate signal cables from high-power cables. Single-point shielding grounding is adopted to lower electromagnetic interference.

Power-On & Commissioning Procedure

Thoroughly inspect ribbon cables, relay installation and wiring to rule out short circuits and open circuits.

Restore power step by step and confirm stable 28 VDC backplane voltage.

Issue control commands through Mark V Toolbox to activate each relay channel, and verify LED indications and contact switching performance.

Conduct complete loop tests for valve control, alarm output and protection interlock circuits.

File jumper layout and wiring documents for future maintenance.
