TRICONEX 3601E Application Scenarios
The TRICONEX 3601E is a triple-modular-redundancy 115 VAC TRIAC digital output module designed for Triconex Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS). It is deployed in safety-critical industrial applications to drive and switch 115 VAC field-side devices including field actuators, solenoid valves, motor starters, alarm lights and status indicators.
Emergency Shutdown System (ESD) Applied in oil refineries, petrochemical complexes, offshore oil and gas platforms, and natural gas transmission pipelines. The module energizes AC solenoid trip valves, shutdown relays and trip-loop circuits. It enables process equipment isolation upon dangerous conditions to realize safety interlock functions.
Burner Management System (BMS) Serves boiler, furnace and process heater safety control within chemical, power and petrochemical facilities. It controls ignition loops, fuel valve actuators and burner alarm indicators to support safe commissioning, flame-out protection and emergency fuel shut-down actions.
Fire & Gas System (F&G) Supports plant-level fire and gas safety logic processing. When fire or flammable-gas hazards are detected, it outputs control signals for 115 VAC warning beacons, alarm horns, fire damper actuators and ventilation safety interlock devices.
Power Generation Safety Protection Used for auxiliary safety loops of boilers and interlock circuits of steam turbines in thermal power stations. It operates AC interlock relays, trip indicator lamps and safety switching signals for auxiliary machinery to guarantee unit-level safety protection.
Chemical and Hazardous-Material Process Units For chemical production sites handling flammable, poisonous and explosive substances.
