ProSoft MVI56E-GSC Voltage and Current Specifications

The MVI56E-GSC module is fully powered by the ControlLogix rack backplane and requires no external power terminals or independent power supply. The module consumes 800 mA from the 5 VDC backplane power source and 3 mA from the 24 VDC auxiliary backplane power source. A 500 V galvanic isolation barrier is implemented between the internal logic circuitry and field serial interfaces, providing effective electrical isolation and anti-interference performance. The serial ports only provide low-current signal-level driving capability and are unable to supply operating power for external field devices.

Supported Hardware Systems

This communication module is specially designed for Rockwell Automation ControlLogix rack-based systems. It is compatible with ControlLogix processors running firmware revision 10 or newer. The module utilizes a single standard slot in both local and remote ControlLogix chassis.
