Installation Precautions for APBU-44C (Part No.64669982)
Disconnect the complete power supply prior to all installation, wiring and disassembly work. Follow lockout-tagout protocols to eliminate accidental power-on risks.
Electrostatic protection: Put on an anti-static wrist strap before contacting circuit boards and optical ports. Direct physical contact with electronic components shall be avoided to prevent ESD-induced damage.
DIN-rail mounting: Make certain the 35 mm standard DIN-rail is securely fastened. Confirm full engagement of module latches after installation; insecure mounting may trigger intermittent communication errors.
Optical fibre operation: Fibre cables must not be bent under the specified minimum bending radius. Never touch the end faces of fibre connectors. Fit protective caps on unoccupied optical ports. Implement TX-RX cross-connection between the APBU-44C and its matched PPCS equipment.

24 V DC power wiring: Observe polarity specifications rigorously. Dual redundant power supply is offered as an optional solution. Do not share the power loop with highly inductive loads.
DIP-switch configuration: Set the DDCS node address in compliance with system topology before power-up. An incorrect address will give rise to PPCS communication malfunction.
Earthing: Firmly connect the protective earth terminal to the cabinet PE busbar. Improper earthing may result in electromagnetic interference and signal anomalies.
Cabinet arrangement: Reserve adequate separation distance from contactors, circuit breakers and high-power motor cables for EMI suppression. Preserve space for natural air ventilation.
Battery switch operation: Activate the memory backup battery DIP-switch only once all wiring work is finished. This function safeguards historical log data against power-failure loss.
Pre-energizing inspection checklist:
Inspect cross-connection status of all optical TX-RX links
Validate 24 V DC wiring polarity
Double-check DIP-switch node address
Examine continuity of PE earthing connections
